Just before Lorne turned 13 months he went from, cruising around using a mix of furniture grasping & crawling, to walking. Now he runs everywhere, into everything! We can’t slow him down nor do we want to. It is amazing to watch how his independence has soared with the freedom that walking gives him. We can’t get enough of his tiny toes navigating his own path around the house. Enjoy!

I had a some time to kill out in the mountains this past week. Enjoy some of the wintery treasures I stumbled across!
& I tried snowboarding for the first time, thanks Rach!!
The sweet little gal below, crashed at the bottom of the bunny hill to avoid running into me ’cause she liked all my colours. Our mutual love for everything pink sparked an instant friendship!

Too cute not to share, here are some of my session favs so far!

You might remember the first Two Photogs inspirational challenge I took part in Blue meets Love; here’s the second. The objective was straight forward, we were to take pics using anything but our professional cameras, to have fun & not over think it. I went with my iphone since it’s always with me & tends to be what I snap up all those unexpected moments with… or lets face it, what I opt for when I can’t be bothered to drag out my big DSLR! Below are my results, I could have posted sooooooo many more images, but we were limited to a max of 3 entries. I love my iPhone!!
This image was taken by accident while waiting on Macleod Trail for the Olympic torch, but I LOVE the way it turned out. We had killer front spots but among the masses of excited Calgarians my Starbucks latte fell victim to the excitment!!
One of our glorious mild Saturdays in January, late afternoon. I especially enjoy the wee bit of lens flare I was able capture in this image! The iPhone truly has amazing capabilities.
This last image showcases the precious chaos of my day-to-day. He is the centre of my universe & I am so thankful for every minute of it!! Thanks ladies once again for putting forth the challenge. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get my hands on that Fuji Instax Mini & am pumped to see what the others came up with!
It was so BEAUTIFUL outside this morning!

My sweet baby boy turns one today! We celebrated with family in advance… where did this past year go??!!

I had such a blast shooting with the three of you (& baby & Max) this past weekend! Your imagery rocks, here’s a teaser!!

The Olympic torch passed through Calgary tonight & I had the honor of witnessing the festivities, front row!! You could feel the Canadian pride in the air. It was amazing to be a part of something this big. Others obviously felt the same, as the community support was overwhelming. Enjoy, eh-o-Canada-go!

I can hardly believe that the holiday season has come & gone. I thought I’d share a small sample of the moments I caught on camera!! Wishing you all health, happiness & prosperity in 2010! A note about session bookings, I will only be accepting a limited number of clients in the coming months as I juggle my transition back to work in the NICU, so book early to avoid missing out!!

Merry Christmas & happy holidays to you & yours!! See you all in the new year.
